At the William’s Campus, a new three-story building for classrooms includes foundations, slab on grade, cast in place walls and columns, slab on metal deck, cast in place stairs and landings, colored and exposed sidewalks, concrete benches and related site work. This project was the cover story for the McGraw-Hill Construction Magazine in the November 2008 Issue, reveals as an environmentally friendly and showing as a LEED gold project and shows for its architecture in the ‘cast-in-place concrete walls flank at the courtyard staircase, and exposed aggregate, integrally colored concrete walkways and exposed aggregate flooring appear inside and outside the building, offering both strength and attractiveness.’
